There is no perfect answer to this question, but 12 times a year can be considered an upper limit. The more sparingly EZC Pak is used, the more effective its immune support remains when you need it most.
No formal studies exist on Echinacea use during pregnancy, but Echinacea is among the most commonly used herbs during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
In first pregnancies in an otherwise healthy mother (no autommine disease, etc), Echinacea use is probably safe. In subsequent pregnancies, it is important to make sure that the mother and baby do not have any contraindications to immune stimulation. One such situation is Rh incompatibility, in which the mother has Rh negative blood and the baby has Rh positive blood. In these instances, you do not want take anything that stimulates or revs up the immune system.
EZC Pak is designed for 18 years old and up.
In ages 12-18 years old, half the daily dose:
Day 1: 2x a day
Day 2: 2x a day
Days 3-5: 1x a day
Children can have a higher incidence of allergic reactions with Echinacea use, most commonly rash. If a rash occurs, stop immediately.
EZC Pak+D is the base EZC Pak with added Vitamin D.
